How it Works


Precision Tile Pro is a Windows app that runs on your PC, not on the web.  This allows you to use it any time and anywhere, with no annoying lag due to slow web connections.  You can save your designs on your PC, print scale drawings, and email your drawings to customers.


To plan a tile layout with Precision Tile Pro, you just need to follow these three simple steps:


Step 1 - Create or import the area to be tiled

  • This can be a simple rectangle or polygon matching the outer dimensions of the area to be tiled. 
  • You can also import floor plans from standard image files.


Step 2 - Add the obstructions

  • Obstructions include cabinets, windows, floor registers etc.  Basically anything that you will need to tile around


Step 3 - File the area to be tiled with your desired tile pattern, tile size and color

  • Any image file can be used in your tile pattern so you can see how any given tile will look in your space
  • Any grout width and color can also be set.  Adjusting the grout width can have a significant impact on how the overall layout looks and fits in your space
  • Re-position the tile with a simple drag of the mouse to find the best fit for your space
